초록/요약
The global manufacturing industry is facing mounting pressure to restructure supply chain amid geopolitical instability and due diligence regulations. Korea, in particular, identifying strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability is of critical importance due to its heavy reliance on external resources. This study investigates the prioritization of key factors in sustainable supplier selection among manufacturing industries in Korea toward a circular economy. The Analytic Hierarchy Process is applied to quantify the relative importance of selection criteria by integrating perspectives from both industry and academia experts. The results reveal that the Economic Dimension is the top-ranked criterion, with the technological, environmental and social aspects positioned subsequently. At the sub-criteria level, ‘Product Quality’ stands out as the most crucial factor, followed by ‘Data Availability’, ‘R&D on Industry 4.0 adoption’, and ‘Digital Operation Strategy’. The findings of this research underscore the rising value of suppliers’ technological capabilities, alongside economic considerations.
