本稿は、日本の婦人運動の言説空間である『婦人民主新聞』に発表された4編の朝鮮戦争関連反戦評論を研究したものである。4編の評論にみられる朝鮮戦争と婦人平和運動をめぐる思想的拮抗は、朝鮮戦争以前まで固く構築されていた「平和勢力としての日本共産党」という「神話」を崩し、新たなヘゲモニを勝ち取ろうとする非共産党系婦人運動勢力と、戦前から築いてきた「革新勢力」としての共産党の権威を守ろうとする共産党系婦人運動勢力の間で行われた思想的攻防を圧縮して提示している。共産党の活動の大衆性は、1950年から本格化した弾圧と武装闘争方針の採択によって徐々に失われていった。一方、日本社会党は共産党に代わる新しい革新勢力として社会運動の主流となっていった。1950年から1951年にかけ『婦人民主新聞』紙上で行われた平塚らいてう、平林たい子対宮本百合子の攻防戦からはそんな時代の流れが垣間見えるが、それを促したのは言うまでもなく朝鮮戦争であった。『婦人民主新聞』に掲載された朝鮮戦争をめぐる反戦平和議論は、戦後日本の思想的再編成過程で女性の平和運動言説と朝鮮戦争が化学反応した結果であり、55年体制以降の保守と革新の理念的交代を先取する一つの兆候として読み取ることができるだろう。

This study examines four opinion articles focusing on anti-war movement against the Korean War from the Women’s Democratic Weekly, a discourse platform for the women’s liberation movement in post-war Japan. The ideological antagonism over the Korean War and women’s liberation movement shown in these articles symbolizes the collision between two women’s movement groups: anticommunist women’s liberation force, which are attempting to break the myth of the communist party as peacekeepers and build a new hegemony; and the communist women’s group, which protects the communist party’s political stance as revolutionary force firmly established since the pre-war era. The decline of the communist party’s popularity began in 1950 due to their use of oppressive measures. The socialist party rapidly replaced the communist party as leaders of social movement. The debate among Hiratsuka, Hirabayashi, and Miyamoto in the Women’s Democratic Weekly spanning 1950-1951 reflects this social current, which was catalyzed by the Korean War. The four anti-war peace debates over the Korean War published in the Women’s Democratic Weekly and present by-product of the women’s liberation movement discourse colliding with the Korean War during the ideological reorganization process of post-war Japan. This discourse can be considered a sign that anticipating the process of ideological change for conservativeness and innovativeness.
