역내 관광교통수단 다원화에 관한 연구 : 스마트 모빌리티 서비스 도입을 중심으로

초록/요약
본 연구는 국내 관광지의 교통수단 다원화와 스마트 모빌리티 도입 가능성을 중심으로 관광교통 체계의 개선 방안을 고찰하고자 한다. 현재 국내 관광교통은 자가용 의존도가 높아 대중교통 이용률이 낮고, 지방 중소도시에서는 대중교통 인프라 부족으로 관광객의 이동 편의성이 제한적인 상황이다. 관광객들이 교통 부문에서의 만족도를 높이고 해당 관광지역 경험을 긍정적으로 느끼도록 하는 것이 관광교통 분야에서 해결해야 할 과제이며, 기존 대중교통 체계의 개선과 더불어 대중교통 이용을 보완할 수 있는 다양한 수단 도입이 필요한 실정이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 스마트 모빌리티 서비스가 대안으로 부상하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 국내 관광지에서 스마트 모빌리티가 대중교통과 연계되거나 독립적인 수단으로 활용될 가능성을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 국내 주요 관광지의 교통 현황과 문제점을 분석하였고, 국내 관광교통 수단으로 승용차를 대체할 수 있는 다양한 모빌리티 수단을 고찰하기 위한 정책적 지원 방안과 관광지 유형별로 요구되는 이동의 특수성에 따라 적합한 스마트 모빌리티 유형을 검토하였다. 이를 바탕으로 관광객 설문조사 데이터를 활용하여 스마트 모빌리티 도입이 관광객의 이동 편의성에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검토하였다. 연구 결과, 스마트 모빌리티 서비스가 관광지 접근성을 개선하고 기존 교통수단의 한계를 보완할 수 있는 대안으로 작용할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 지방 중소도시 관광교통 체계에 스마트 모빌리티 도입을 위한 정책적 지원 방안을 제시하고 관광교통의 지속 가능성과 관광객 만족도 향상에 기여할 수 있도록 구체적 실행 전략을 제안하였다.

This study investigates strategies to improve tourism transportation systems, emphasizing the diversification of transportation modes and the adoption of smart mobility solutions in domestic tourist destinations. Currently, tourism transportation in Korea is predominantly reliant on private vehicles, resulting in low public transportation utilization and limited mobility accessibility, especially in small and medium-sized cities with insufficient public transit infrastructure. Enhancing tourist satisfaction in mobility services and fostering positive perceptions of tourism destinations remain critical objectives in the field of tourism mobility. It is imperative to supplement existing public transit systems with innovative transportation solutions to address these challenges effectively. Smart mobility services have emerged as a promising alternative to mitigate these limitations. This research explores the potential for smart mobility to function as an independent transportation option or as an integrated component of public transportation in tourist destinations. The study examines the current transportation landscape and associated challenges in key domestic tourist hubs, assessing the applicability of smart mobility solutions tailored to the specific mobility needs of various destination types. A policy framework was developed to support the adoption of alternative mobility modes capable of reducing reliance on private vehicles. Using survey data, this study also empirically evaluated the impact of smart mobility adoption on tourists' perceived mobility convenience. The findings confirm that smart mobility services significantly enhance accessibility to tourist destinations and address the shortcomings of existing transport systems, positioning themselves as viable alternatives. Based on these insights, this research proposes a comprehensive policy framework to facilitate the integration of smart mobility into the transportation systems of small and medium-sized cities. It further outlines strategic measures to support sustainable tourism mobility, improve transport efficiency, and elevate the overall tourist experience.
