한국어 단모음 지각 훈련과 산출 훈련이 한국어 발음의 지각과 산출에 미치는 영향 : 몽골인 중급 학습자를 대상으로

초록/요약

한국어 발음 교육은 주로 초급 한국어 학습자들을 대상으로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 중급 수준의 한국어 학습자들에게도 발음의 오류는 빈번하게 나타난다. 따라서 중급 수준의 한국어 학습자 대상으로 수업 시간을 고려한 효과적인 발음 교육을 실시할 필요가 있다. 이러한 이유에서 본 연구는 중급 수준의 몽골인 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 발음의 지각과 산출의 정확성 향상에 효과적인 한국어 말소리 훈련을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중급 수준의 몽골인 한국어 학습자 20명을 지각 훈련 집단과 산출 훈련 집단으로 구분하여 지각 훈련 혹은 산출 훈련을 진행하였다. 이후 말소리 훈련 전과 말소리 훈련 후의 지각의 정확성과 산출의 정확성 변화에 대해 살펴보았다. 사전 지각 검사 결과 중급 수준의 몽골인 한국어 학습자들은 지각의 정확성이 높았으나 사전 산출 검사 결과 단모음 /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, /ㅗ/ 발음의 정확성이 낮았다. 이 결과를 통해 중급 수준의 몽골인 한국어 학습자들에게는 /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, /ㅗ/ 산출의 정확성 향상을 위한 말소리 훈련이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다. 이에 따라 위계를 설정하여 지각 훈련 집단과 산출 훈련 집단의 /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, /ㅗ/ 산출의 정확성 향상 정도를 비교하였다. 그 결과 /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, /ㅗ/의 정확성 향상에는 산출 훈련이 더 효과적이라는 것을 확인하였다.

초록/요약

Korean pronunciation education is mainly conducted for beginner Korean learners. However, pronunciation errors frequently appear even in intermediate Korean learners. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct effective pronunciation education considering class time for intermediate Korean learners. For this reason, this study attempted to clarify effective Korean speech sound training for intermediate level Korean learners to improve pronunciation perception and accuracy of production. To this end, 20 Mongolian Korean learners at the intermediate level were divided into a perceptual training group and a production training group, and perceptual training or production training was conducted. After that, the changes in the accuracy of perception and production before and after perception training and production training were examined. As a result of the pre-perception test, Mongolian Korean learners at the intermediate level had high accuracy of perception, but as a result of the pre-production test, the accuracy of the short vowel /-/, /ㅜ/, /ㅗ/ pronunciation was low. Through these results, it was confirmed that speech sound training is necessary to improve the accuracy of /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, and /ㅗ/ production for intermediate level Korean learners. Accordingly, the hierarchy was set and the degree of accuracy improvement in /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, /ㅗ/ production of the perceptual training group and the production training group was compared. As a result, it was confirmed that production training was more effective in improving the accuracy of /ㅡ/, /ㅜ/, and /ㅗ/.
