We will be able to summarize the aspects of love on A Sad song in Buddhist nunnery(승방비곡), Wandering singer(방랑의 가인), The Love( 사랑) and Sun-ae-bo(순애보) as follows. A Sad song in Buddhist nunnery and Wandering singer focus on the love desire of individual which thirsts physical love. Two novels show the aspect of the antagonism of the desire of individual against the environment. It is attached to self-awakening of modern ages. And this is one in the important element of Korean love stories during the period of Japanese occupation. On the other hand, The Love and Sun-ae-bo show the religious love which transcend physical love. The The Love pursues a love of spirit which is cleared physical love of individual thoroughly. Also the practice of religious love on The love is well brought out in Sun-ae-bo. The love has a good influence over the antagonist in Sun-ae-bo. The power of religious love on The Love and Sun-ae-bo is expanded the racial meaning.
