초록/요약
The Great Han Empire was cautious of an infringement of sovereignty by Russia. The Great Han Empire approached Great Britain for sovereignty safeguard of Great Han Empire. At first The Great Han Empire was against Great Britain’s request for Eunsan mining concession(殷山金鑛採掘權). Finally King Kojong transferred to Morgan Eunsan mining concession. This step was caused by diplomatic consideration. At that time Russia pressed over the Great Han Empire for Masanpo(馬山浦) lease. King Kojong complied with Great Britain’s request. Namely King Kojong granted to Great Britain Eunsan mining concession and Massanpo(馬山浦) lease. Generally it is believed that Eunsan mining concession was infringement of concessions by Great Britain. On the other hand it is believed that Eunsan mining concession was diplomatic plan by King Kojong.
