This paper is an attempt to analysis on the methods of writing in critical assays on the Eco-poetry risen up in 1990's. I analyzed rhetorically the critical assays on the Eco-poetry. There are two Topoi , a sense of Eco-crisis and a global community spirit. in eco-criticism. They have a possibility of the communication between the reader and the writer. Though eco-criticism has enough topos to communicate with the reader, it doesn't overcome the absence of the communication in academical writing for lack of the understanding between a poet and a critic. There are a few distinctive features in writing style. First, using the pronoun ‘we' is showed the ecological community spirit. Second, to be united eschatological voice in writing is to insist the justify of the ecological literature. Moreover, It has the advantage of opening reader's eyes in ecological thinking. That the critic speaks in a grief ton and a praise tone is a rhetorical device to persuade the reader to transcend paradigms. On the other hand, they have the side effects, which decrease the logical reasoning in ecological discourse.
