The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 12 weeks in Nordic walking and Field walking exercise on body compositions and blood constituents, blood lipid in obese middle-aged women. Subjects were of surveyed 16 the middle-aged obes women in G city , subjects were classified into nordic walking and field walking group consisted of 7 and 9 members respectively. Average walking exercise intensity on walking program was 45-65 %HRmax. The mean values and standard deviations were calculated, and then paired t-test was conducted by SPSS 12.0 for comparing data between pre and post walking programs. Statistical significance level was p<.05. The results showed that body weight was after 12 weeks nordic walking and field walking exercise was the significant decrease, percentage body fat was the significant decrease, and abdominal fatness was the significant decrease. 2) In the blood constituents, white blood cell was the significant increase, hemoglobin was the significant increase, hematocrit was significant increase and platelets the significant increase to after 12 weeks nordic walking and field walking exercise. 3) n the blood lipids, total cholesterol(TC) was the significant decrease, high density lipoprotein(HDL-C) was the significant increase and triglyceride(TG) was the significant decrease. As the above results, the 12 weeks walking exercise in obese middle-aged women, was found to have a positive effect in the improvement of body compositions, blood constituents and blood lipids.
