Powder samples of YBa2Cu3O6 were magnetically aligned and the anisotropies in the systems were studied by means of Cu(1)lineshapes and the spinlattice and spinspin relaxation times as a function of the aligning magnetic eld indicate that full mi-croscopic alignment can be achieved by using a magnetic eld of about 4.7 T, for which doublet line patterns arising from ahyperne splitting were observed.. 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
