어머니의 양육스트레스 및 양육행동이 취학 전 아동의 학교준비도에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 양육스트레스와 양육행동이 취학 전 아동의 학교준비도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 다음과 같은 구체적인 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 아동의 성별에 따라 학교준비도는 차이가 있는가? 2. 어머니의 양육스트레스 및 양육행동은 아동의 학교준비도와 관계가 있는가? 3. 어머니의 양육스트레스 및 양육행동은 아동의 학교준비도에 영향을 미치는가? 연구대상자는 서울과 경기도에 소재한 5개의 유아교육기관에 다니고 있는 만 5세 자녀와 그 어머니 217쌍이다. 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 기술통계분석, 독립표본 t검정, Pearson의 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동의 학교준비도 총점에서 성별에 따른 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 특히 학교준비도 중 단체생활태도 요인, 학습활동능력 요인에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 아동의 학교준비도는 어머니의 양육스트레스와 부적 상관을 보였으며, 어머니의 양육행동 중 온정·격려 요인, 한계설정 요인과는 정적 상관을 과보호·허용 요인, 거부·방임 요인과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 셋째, 아동의 학교준비도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 것은 어머니의 양육스트레스 중 부모-자녀간 역기능적인 상호작용 요인과 어머니의 양육행동 중 한계설정 요인으로 나타났다. 종합해보면 본 연구는 어머니의 양육스트레스 및 양육행동이 취학 전 아동의 학교준비도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 보다 폭 넓은 자료를 제공했다는데 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
