초록/요약
This paper evaluates the China’s SOEs reform policy under the current situation in international economics. To be more specific, this paper starts with qualitative analysis about the different definitions and regulation of SOEs around the world, especially in OECD, WTO and new SOE regulation in TPP. After that paper moves on to in-depth analysis about the China’s SOE situation and analyzes the current problem of SOE situation of China. After the qualitative analysis, this paper quantitatively investigates the correlation between trade and China’s SOEs and Private TFP growth. Based on this statistical analysis, the paper confirms the negative effect of China’s SOEs structure posed on China’s economic growth and the failure of current China’s SOEs reform policy. Lastly, the paper concluded with some suggestion for China’s SOE policy reform to maintain their long-term economic growth by following the TPP’s SOE regulation.
