HVDC와 AC 병행 송전선로의 계통해석에 관한 연구

초록/요약

Power system is facing the problems such as increasing power demand, increased uncertainty with renewable energy implementation, and objection to constructing transmission lines. The conventional AC transmission system has limitations on these issues, while HVDC system has many advantages and can handle these problems that AC transmission cannot cover. HVDC is economical and efficient in long-distance transmission lines and HVDC can be usuful with asynchronous interconnection. HVDC can also control active, reactive power flow. These factors are promoting the installation of the HVDC system. In Korea, there are many HVDC projects on consideration including third HVDC from main land to Jeju island, Grid connection of Southwest Offshore WindFarm, and so on. In the near future, many HVDC transmissions will be connected to AC power network and there will be also parallel HVDC and AC transmission lines in the power system. Therefore, in this paper, the modeling of the HVDC and AC parallel system in a power system which can reflect DC line dynamics and stabilities is performed. Using the real parallel HVDC and AC model in Jeju island, the analysis and system operation at various conditions is also performed. An analysis method and optimal operation condition for the stable operation of parallel system is proposed using PSCAD/EMTDC and PSS/E program.
