율곡 사상의 승반론적 이해

The aim of this dissertation is to examine Yulgok's Thought based on Theory of Supervenience. Up to now Yulgok's thought has been studied LiQi(理氣), Mind-Nature[心性], Self-cultivation and his political thought as a apart. This dissertation, however, tries to argue Mind-Nature[心性], Self-cultivation and his political thought[經世論] based on LiQi(理氣), with particular on Theory of Supervenience. Yulgok argued LiQi(理氣) based on Ontological theory. This point can be explain on Theory of Supervenience. Theory of Supervenience implies LiSheng(理乘) and Covariance[共變]. LiSheng(理乘) means that Li(理) is the standard of Qi(氣) motion. Covariance[共變] means that Li(理) is influenced by Qi(氣) as Li(理) riding on Qi(氣). Additionally, I argue Mind-Nature[心性], Self-cultivation and his political thought[經世論] based on Theory of Supervenience. By analyzation these, I demonstrate that Yulgok's Mind-Nature[心性], Self-cultivation and his political thought[經世論] is distinguishes from Joseon(朝鮮)' Neo-Confucianism. Through this, it could be confirmed that meaning of "Mind is Qi[心是氣]" 'XinTongXingQing[心統性情]' , emphasis of the changing QiZhil(氣質) in Self-cultivation and reason of the practicality[務實]-oriented his political thought[經世論].
