초록/요약

The purpose of this study is to develop an environmentally-friendly farming experience model as a place for city dwellers to learn the traditions of the farm country based on the complete enumeration survey on the traditional agricultural themed village undertaken by the Rural Development Administration in 2010. This study proposes a farming experience model based on problem-based learning which focuses on the learner rather than a mere cultivator riding or harvesting experience. Gapsan-ri, Soi-myeon, Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk has well conserved its traditions and maintains a beautiful natural environment. Also, with the voluntary efforts of the local residents, the village entered into a "One Company, One Village" agreement with the Korea Consumer Agency in 2014, which is relocating to Eumseong-gun, and commenced urban and rural exchange programs . The environmentally-friendly farming experience based on continuous urban and rural exchange programs such as the "5 to 2, urban and rural stay program" and "One Company, One Village" has transformed the city dwellers' desire to farm and demand for settling in the rural areas into a reality rather than a brief experience. Such activity will act as a new source of vitality and energy for the demographically aging farming villages.
