초록/요약
빛은 인간의 지각 경험에 광범위하게 작용한다. 빛은 우리 주변의 현실세계의 특성들을 관찰하고 식별하는 첫 번째 요소이고, 빛의 세기, 컬러 그리고 방향성에서 나타나는 빛의 다양함으로 지리적 위치와 위도에 관한 정보를 우리에게 알려준다. 또한 빛은 갖가지의 감성적 느낌과 심미적 경험을 창조한다. 빛은 가장 심도 깊은 문화 컨텐츠의 중요한 부분을 담당하고, 많은 상징적인 의미를 내포하는 매개체이며, 환경의 이미지에 강하게 영향을 주는 조형언어를 나타내는 요소이다. 그러나 빛에 관한 물리적 측면의 자료들은 많고, 조명 계획에도 그러한 자료들이 사용되어지지만, 우리가 실제적으로 느끼는 빛은 물리적으로 측정되는 빛이 아닌, 심리상태로 다가오는 감성적인 빛이다. 이러한 빛에 관한 영역은 우리에게 꼭 필요한 부분임에도 불구하고, 현재까지 많이 다루어지지 않고 있다. 그러한 이유로 본 논문에서는 빛의 물리적 특성을 제외한 빛의 성질에서 나타나는 감성어휘를 토대로 조명이미지 표현 방법을 연구하여 차후 조명설계에 빛을 적용시킬 때 도움을 주고자 함이 본 연구의 목적이다. 조명이미지 표현 방법을 위해서 만든 빛의 분석도구(Light Profile)를 사용하게 될 것이고, 이 Light Profile은 다양한 조명이미지를 분석하여, 공간 속에서 보여지는 빛의 시각적 표현 특성을 나타내 줄 것이며, 서로 다른 공간의 빛의 특질의 비교 분석 뿐만 아니라 더 나아가서는 조명계획의 초기단계에서 조명이미지 표현 방법을 제안 할 수 있을 것이다. 그간 물리적, 기술적 지표만을 조명 설계의 기준치로 사용하며, 인간의 색과 분위기에 대한 경험으로 인지되는 조명이미지의 효과가 상황에 따라 달라지는 결과를 조래하였다면, Light Profile의 사용은 처음 조명계획을 할 때의 컨셉 조명이미지와 적어도 유사한 효과의 조명연출 결과를 보여주게 될 것임을 기대한다.

Light is responsible for a wide range of human sensory experiences: it is the prince of vision and discrimination of the characteristics of real world surrounding us; it informs us about the latitude and our geographical location in the land with its variations in intensity, color and directionality; it originates a variety of its variations in intensity, color and directionality; it originates a variety of aesthetic experiences and emotional feelings. Light is a fundamental part of the deepest contents of a culture, it is vehicle of a lot of imaginary and symbolic connotations, and it really constitutes expressive matter whose plastic language strongly influences the image of real world and environment. For this reason, in the present work we studied the method of expression of light image based on the emotional terms appearing from the qualities of light except for physical feathers and it will help to apply light to lighting plan, this is the object of this thesis. In the case of the expression method of lighting image, it will use the 'Light Profile' and it will present the expression qualities of light shown in the space through analysis of the various lighting image. Light Profile also will analyze and compare the various spaces and besides it will be able to propose the expression method of lighting image in the early stages of lighting plan. We have used as the data base the physical and technical materials when we plan the lighting image, but it is very difficult to reflect the emotion and atmosphere perceived in human experience, but even so it will represent differently every person. Light Profile, instead, will present the similar result between the concept lighting image and result lighting image.
