Legislations of Mongolia on land separately regulate the possession, use and ownership of land and determined their peculiarities, which is dereived from the Constituion of Mongolia. The Constitution of Mongolia states that the land other than of public pasture purpose and of state special consumption shall only be owned to the citizen of Mongolia. In addition, citizens are prohibited to transfer their private land to the ownership of foreign citizens and stateless persons by means of selling, presenting as gift and as a security. Also it is prohibited to have the land possessed and used by others without the authorization of concerned public bodies.
