발표내용In the future society, one of the important required abilities for students is to develop creative thinking, rather than memorization. In order to improve creative ability in students’ mind in mathematics curriculum, it is recommended that contents as well as processes in mathematical assessments should be changed, as confirmed by researchers.
Nowadays, that is why different assessment formats, such as performance assessment, constructed-response assessment, and mathematical essays, are often actively discussed.
The purpose of this course is to provide participants opportunities to contemplate ideas about how to teach mathematical essays for middle and high school students.
In this course, how to develop assessment contents in mathematical essays will mainly be
explored with different evaluation standards such as global and analytical methods."
